Added value that pays off economically
Carpets from HALBMOND not only impress in terms of design, but also economically: they are durable, energy-efficient, reduce follow-up costs and increase the utility value of many rooms. Under efficiency, we show how well thought-out textile solutions create long-term added value - for operators, planners and users alike.
A floor covering must pay off in the long term - not just when you buy it, but for years to come: during operation, cleaning and possible replacement. Carpets from HALBMOND are made for this: robust, modular, easy-care - with the aim of sustainably reducing life cycle costs.
Carpets act as heat accumulators and "indirect" heat suppliers. On average, they contribute around two degrees to the perceived room temperature. Rooms are perceived as warmer without having to turn up the heating too much - an advantage that is particularly noticeable in large properties.
This means
The longer a floor covering remains in use, the more economical it is. That's why we rely on hard-wearing yarn qualities that are specially designed for heavy-duty use.
Polyamide fibres are among the most robust of all - they are even used in building construction. Their long service life reduces the costs associated with the production, transport and installation of new floor coverings. In short: fewer replacement investments, less downtime, less consumption of resources.
Carpet tiles are inherently efficient systems. Instead of replacing an entire room, only individual modules can be replaced - for example in the event of localised damage or remodelling.
With EasyLift, our bitumen- and PVC-free heavy coating, we combine this flexibility with very good lying and bending behaviour. Tiles can be replaced on a modular basis, without long downtimes or large construction sites during operation. This saves:
For us, efficiency also means using resources intelligently - in the product and in production.
One example is the yarn tube cutting machine developed by HALBMOND. It efficiently separates yarn remnants from cardboard tubes, enabling the materials to be returned to the cycle separately. In this way, over 440,000 polyamide yarn waste bobbins and more than 85,000 wool bobbins can be recycled each year - a total of more than 23 tonnes of residual raw material, and the trend is rising.
The positive effects:
Further investments - for example in heat exchangers, modern boiler technology, centralised compressed air systems and a structured energy action plan - also reduce energy requirements and therefore the running costs of production.
through care & cleaning
Professional maintenance is a decisive lever for cost-effectiveness. Carpets that are laid out correctly from the outset (quality, colour, usage class) and then cleaned properly remain attractive and functional for much longer.
This reduces
This means that efficiency pays off twice over with HALBMOND: in daily use - and in the key figures of operators and planners. We would be happy to work with you to develop an appropriate maintenance and cleaning plan for your property equipped by us. Get in touch with us now.
