Duration of training: 3 years
Product designers realise given pattern designs according to technology and customer requirements. HALBMOND has been producing carpets of outstanding quality and design diversity for around 140 years. Our product designers also develop and create their own designs for various textile floor coverings.
Your area of responsibility includes
- Development and realisation of pattern designs according to customer requirements as well as your own ideas
- Use of different image processing programmes or graphics and design software
- Use of various design elements
- checking sample designs for technical feasibility and preparing technical documentation
- transferring and repeating sample designs
- Mastering design techniques and machine technologies
- Development of designs according to the various intended uses
What you should bring with you:
- Secondary school leaving certificate
- Creativity combined with drawing skills
- A feeling for shapes and colours
- Customer-orientated approach
Training locations:
- practical training at the Oelsnitz/Vogtl. plant
