Apprenticeship as a textile laboratory technician (m/f/d)

Specialising in textile finishing

Duration of training: 3.5 years

Textile laboratory technicians examine and analyse the chemical and physical properties of textile raw materials, semi-finished and finished products as well as textile auxiliaries. HALBMOND has been producing carpets of outstanding quality and design diversity for around 140 years. Our textile laboratory technicians are also involved in product development.

Your area of responsibility includes

  • Testing materials, such as yarns, fibres, textile surfaces or auxiliary materials for finishing textiles
  • Analysing tests and defining quality standards
  • Creating documentation and test protocols as well as recipes
  • Systematic error detection

What you should bring with you:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate
  • An interest in science
  • Diligence
  • Good powers of observation

Training locations:

  • practical training at the Oelsnitz/Vogtl. plant
  • theoretical training at the state vocational school for textile professions in Münchberg, Schützenstraße 30, 95213 Münchberg
